Woroni Radio is ANU’s very own student-run radio station, offering a wide range of content from live broadcasts to podcasts, radio plays, DJ sets, and more! We’re looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Producers.
Whether you’re new to radio or already have some experience, if you’re passionate about creating great content and supporting fellow students, we want to hear from you! About the Producer Role: As a Producer, you’ll work closely with presenters, providing both technical and emotional support throughout the semester. Together, you’ll collaborate to produce engaging content, whether it’s a live radio show or a podcast. Producers may also assist the Executive Producers with specialised projects including vox-pop packages, special interviews and more.
This is a commitment of around 5-7 hours per week, and no prior experience is required – just a willingness to learn and a passion for helping bring creative ideas to life! We’re looking for someone who is approachable, organised, reliable, a good communicator, a team player, and ready to think critically.
If you need any help with the application process or have any questions, feel free to contact us at radio@woroni.com.au or woroniradioeditor@gmail.com . Apply here:
Radio Team Hiring Semester 1 2025
We acknowledge the Ngunnawal and Ngambri people, who are the Traditional Custodians of the land on which Woroni, Woroni Radio and Woroni TV are created, edited, published, printed and distributed. We pay our respects to Elders past and present. We acknowledge that the name Woroni was taken from the Wadi Wadi Nation without permission, and we are striving to do better for future reconciliation.
